HeyDesigner started in 2012 because I was tired of digging through noise to find things worth reading.

The idea was straightforward: collect the best writing, tools, and ideas from the world of design and development — and share them daily. No algorithm deciding what's relevant. No trending feed. Just a slow, careful read-through, and a link if something is genuinely worth your time.

That process hasn't changed. Every piece that goes up is something I actually read and found useful, interesting, or thought-provoking. Most things don't make the cut. That's kind of the point.

Over time, 10,000+ designers, developers, and product people started reading along — and what keeps them around is exactly that: the sense that someone actually looked at this before sending it your way.
